Google also lists it under supermarket, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Richardson with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Texas may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 am–9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Indo Pak Supermarket at (972) 644-7900; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 1,263 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for asian grocery stores in Richardson. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Richardson is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Richardson follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

So fun to shop for indian food and spices, even has organic henna for skin (unlabelled black cone) and rice papi (gluten-free; u can microwave, no oil cooking!) and gluten-free desserts. Not a lot of paan (wild betel leaf) when i went (11ː30am thursday) but will call to catch after delivery. itz a special unique ingredient in the northern thai royal appetizer I.m making. did not find it at Ranch 99, HMart and Chinese groceries. Very helpful customer service in response to my many questions. Went to Good Fortune supermarket to get the rest of my fresh ingredients Had a yummy dairy dessert and will check out other frozen desserts and share pics later. got a brown coconut fir $2.49 and it was so old the juice and flesh tasted like formaldehyde. Let.s see how they respond

Extremely disappointing experience at Indo Pak (Polk St, Richardson). We ordered Golgappe (Fuchka) and a Chaat Potli, and everything about the visit was frustrating. First, the order took nearly an hour, even though the place wasn’t particularly busy. The staff seemed confused and very slow, which set the tone right away. When the food finally arrived, it was honestly unacceptable. The chaat had stale, soggy crunch on top, like it had been sitting out for a long time. The Fuchka was even worse β€” it tasted stale and off. My friend and I each tried one and immediately returned them because they were clearly not fresh. Instead of remaking the order properly, they took about 20 minutes and then just warmed up the same ones and gave them back. No proper replacement, no fresh batch, no extra effort β€” not even the full quantity returned. On top of that, there was no chutney or proper accompaniments served. And when I told them That again they were so confused and didn’t respond so I just left that place. Overall, very poor service and subpar food quality. Long wait times, lack of freshness, and no accountability from the staff. Definitely not coming back.

First its hard to find bcuz google gives the wrong directions. If your not Indian or Pakistani you need to know what your looking for. No one here speaks English well to have a simple conversation. Prices are high and you find walmart and aldi items marked up. Thankfully I knew what I was looking for. This will not be my choice next time I need Indian spices or ingredients.

My wife loves the biryani here. This is her go to Indian restaurant next to the supermarket. Highly recommended. Great taste and generous portion.

This isn’t about the $1.50 difference β€” it’s about poor management, misleading pricing, and unprofessional staff. I bought Vital Tea round tea bags, which were clearly priced at $9.49 on the shelf (see attached photo). At checkout, I was charged $10.99 instead (see receipt). When I asked the cashier, she told me the $9.49 was for a 216-count, and I had picked up the 300-count. I understand that β€” but why was the $9.49 price directly under the 300-count bags? There were three full rows of 300-count bags placed under that price tag, with no correction, no sign, nothing. She then said the UPC number was different β€” but let’s be real, no customer checks the UPC of every item they pick up. We rely on where the price tag is placed. If the price doesn’t match the item above it, that’s your mistake, not ours. You either misplaced the items or failed to remove the outdated price. Either way, it’s misleading. On top of that, when I tried to point this out and take a photo, she removed the price tag on another item (pheni) as soon as I mentioned taking a picture β€” very suspicious behavior. If she was right then WHY DID SHE REMOVE THE (PEHNI) PRICE TAG. She was also rude and dismissive, ref
